Structurelle Structural Engineers

Old Manor Hotel, Trowle Common

The owner of the Old Manor is refurbishing two chicken sheds in the grounds of the hotel which over the years have lost a considerable amount of their structural integrity. At the same time this has added to their visual appeal and they have become quite a feature at the hotel. The intention therefore is to convert them into quirky holiday lets while retaining their heavily deflected forms. This requires considerable structural strengthening works to the existing timber frames, including the creation of racking stability by constructing some internal walls to add further strength.
